Double Chocolate Espresso (USA)

There's nothing Christmas-y about this cookie, but it took a lot of chocolate and coffee to get through the year. Chocolate and coffee is such a good combo that it automatically gets a spot in the cookie box. I did throw some sprinkles to make it festive.. My cookie scoop broke while I was making this, and a good chunk of the dough might have gone into my mouth, not the oven.

This is not something you eat near bed time, because there's a good amount of caffeine. I think they're great with warm milk, or more coffee.
