Pandan is a tropical plant that grows in Southeast Asia. It has this earthty, coconuty taste, and smells wonderful (or like home, to me :)
The marbled stripe is a technique I learned from here. Recipe adapted from here, with some tweaks - added coconut and some other things I can't remember.
